Mount Vernon Caribbean Meat Market Corp is an asian grocery store in Mt Vernon, New York. It is listed at 56 S 4th Ave, Mt Vernon, NY 10550, which places it among the local businesses of Mt Vernon that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under butcher shop, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Mt Vernon with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Mount Vernon Caribbean Meat Market Corp at (914) 371-7351; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 59 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Mt Vernon is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Mt Vernon is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

DO NOT use your Link or EBT card here. I live in IL, and have never visited this store, yet my benefits were drained here on May 8th at 11:41 A.M. I see multiple other reviews from people in different states reporting the exact same thing. This establishment is clearly involved in or being used for an EBT skimming and cloning operation. I have already filed a dispute with ebtEDGE and am reporting this store to the USDA, the FBI (IC3), and the Mount Vernon Police Department. If you have been victimized here, report it immediately to stop this group.

These guys know exactly 💯 what there doing. They know that congress will no longer replace the stolen stamps. As well, will not spend the legal money's to investigate how there doing this. I live in Tn. The first day I got my card & stamps. I stopped at the Dollar General to get some lunch. On September 10th at 12:30. Spent $15.75. Then the same day at 1:53 pm. They tried $336.08 which was the amount of the original deposit . But because I made a small purchase. They rerun the numbers again for $321.10. And as you can see from my post. They got them. There is not anyway for the consumers to file a dispute to have the charged backed out. So if anyone has legal advise for me. Please share it. If not a few of us good old country boys may take a trip to the meat market.

I have been shopping here for numerous years. I have never had an issue with my EBT card. I have noticed on the comments that a lot of people from out of state are the ones that are getting their cards cloned I believe this is happening in your state not in the state of New York, where the transaction is being made the owner of This facility is a very honest and hard-working business owner, who gives back to the community all the The Owner donates to children’s sports groups donation of food items during the holidays. I have myself been a recipient of his generosity so I am not understanding where all this negative comments are coming from.

My EBT card was used here. I live 15 hours away from this store! They are fraudulent and stealing from us who have kids in need. I see I’m not the only person. They don’t steal small amounts it’s $900 worth. They are using EBT cards to scam. Do NOT go here they will scam you!!!!!!! It’s so sad. I needed my stamps and now my kids aren’t able to eat.keep in mind I NEVER been to this store before.
